2010 State Championship Playoffs
UA Edges Kilbourne for State Championship In a hard fought game, Upper Arlington knocked off Kilbourne and won the Div. 1 State Championship 10-8. The Wolves battled back from a 7-3 halftime deficit and out scored the Golden Bears in the second half by 2 goals but it was not enough to close the gap. Conor Igoe lead Kilbourne with 3 goals and Charlie Bassani chipped in 2.

Days after the Worthington Kilbourne High School boys lacrosse team's 10-8 loss to Upper Arlington in the Division I state championship June 5 at Dublin Jerome, it was difficult for coach Drew May to talk about the season in the past tense.

After losing to Upper Arlington 16-5 on May 4, senior midfielder Will Campbell knew the Worthington Kilbourne High School boys lacrosse team needed a mistake-free game to defeat the Golden Bears in the Division I state championship last Saturday at Dublin Jerome. Will Campbell and Conor Igoe were named first team midfield, and Cory Spencer and Jake Herteinstein received first team honors at attack and defense. All four players are seniors. Also, Will Campbell was named 2010 Ohio Midfielder of the Year.
